Pademelon park is a non profit organisation and we and our volunteers give our time freely & we are also the Wombaroo & Passwell distributors for Tasmania which brings in a small income for the refuge so it can continue to run. However despite all our efforts, we still rely, on donations and grants to continue the fight against the loss of our wildlife due to human interaction and environmental loss of habitat.
Grants are sometimes given to the refuge with a particular project or part project in mind; however the day to day running & costs like milk formulas, pellets, seed and vet expenses and medications are an ongoing battle.
